Dr. Lillian Wambuzi, MBChB, MMed, MPH, is a Paediatrician with a special interest in Maternal Child Health. She has over the past 10 years, she worked on both clinical trials and observational studies involving HIV infected mothers and their children with much focus on the areas of child neurodevelopment and maternal psychological well-being.

In two of the studies, the PROMISE NeuroDev study and the PROMOTE study, she was the Lead Site Investigator. She has executed leadership roles in clinical research management providing clinical and operational guidance to the research teams. She also has additional administrative/ operational leadership roles as the current Director of the Clinic Division.
